  1. Support the development and implementation of policies that align with the mission and values of Johns Hopkins University.
  2. Conduct research and analysis on current policies and regulations to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for policy changes.
  3. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to gather input and feedback on policies.
  4. Assist in drafting, reviewing, and editing policy documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  5. Monitor and track policy changes and updates, and communicate any relevant updates to the appropriate parties.
  6. Provide support in the development and delivery of policy training programs for staff and faculty.
  7. Assist in the development and maintenance of policy databases and repositories.
  8. Serve as a point of contact for policy-related inquiries and provide timely and accurate responses.
  9. Participate in meetings and discussions related to policy development and implementation.
  10. Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations that may impact university policies.
  11. Collaborate with other team members to ensure policies are consistent and aligned across departments.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  13. Work collaboratively with other university departments to ensure policies are implemented effectively and efficiently.
  14. Assist in developing and implementing strategies to communicate policy changes and updates to the university community.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve policy development processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Public Policy, Political Science, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Policy Research, Analysis, Or Program Development

  • Strong Understanding Of Policy Issues And Processes At The Local, State, And Federal Levels

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Present Complex Information To Diverse Audiences

  • Proficiency In Data Analysis And Experience Working With Statistical Software, Such As Spss Or Stata.
