  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions with students, utilizing evidence-based techniques and modalities to address a wide range of mental health concerns.
  • Provide crisis intervention and emergency services as needed, including conducting risk assessments and creating safety plans.
  • Complete thorough and timely documentation of all clinical services provided, including progress notes and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and integrated care for students.
  • Participate in regular supervision and consultation with senior clinicians to enhance clinical skills and maintain ethical standards.
  • Stay current on best practices and developments in the field of mental health to continually improve service delivery.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of programs and initiatives that promote mental health and well-being on campus.
  • Attend and actively participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all ethical and legal guidelines in the provision of mental health services.
  • Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and culturally sensitive environment for students seeking mental health support.
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for students, promoting awareness and understanding of mental health issues and resources available.
  • Collaborate with campus partners, including academic advisors, residential life staff, and health services, to provide holistic support to students.
  • Participate in outreach and educational activities to promote mental health awareness and destigmatize seeking help.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and organization of client records, including data entry and record keeping.
  • Support and uphold the mission and values of Johns Hopkins University in all interactions and activities.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Counseling, Psychology, Social Work Or Related Field From An Accredited University.

  • Active License/Certification In The State Of Maryland As A Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (Lcpc), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Lcsw), Or Licensed Psychologist.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Clinical Experience In A Mental Health Setting, Preferably Working With Diverse Populations.

  • Knowledge And Experience With Evidence-Based Treatment Approaches For Various Mental Health Disorders, Such As Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (Cbt), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (Dbt), And/Or Psychodynamic Therapy.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Multidisciplinary Team.
