  1. Conduct thorough reviews of research protocols to ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory guidelines.
  2. Collaborate with researchers and other team members to provide guidance and support in the development and submission of research protocols.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all research studies and related documentation.
  4. Monitor and track progress of research studies to ensure timely completion and compliance.
  5. Stay informed about changes in regulations and guidelines related to human subjects research and communicate updates to relevant parties.
  6. Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate researchers and team members on ethical and regulatory requirements.
  7. Respond to inquiries and provide guidance to researchers regarding ethical and regulatory issues.
  8. Coordinate and assist with IRB meetings and reviews.
  9. Conduct audits and investigations to identify and address potential non-compliance issues.
  10. Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies as required.
  11. Collaborate with other departments and institutions to ensure consistency and standardization in research processes.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive information.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve IRB processes and procedures.
  14. Represent the IRB and the institution at conferences and events related to research compliance.
  15. Foster a positive and professional work environment within the IRB team.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Bioethics, Health Policy, Or Social Sciences.

  • Certified Irb Professional (Cip) Or Equivalent Certification.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working With Irbs In A Research Or Academic Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Federal Regulations And Ethical Principles Related To Human Subjects Research.

  • Excellent Communication And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Analyze Complex Information And Make Sound Decisions.
