- Lead and coordinate innovative projects within Johns Hopkins University, ensuring their successful completion on time and within budget.
- Work closely with team members to develop project plans, set timelines, and establish project goals and objectives.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, including senior management and project sponsors.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project success.
- Manage project budgets and allocate resources effectively to meet project objectives.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment to encourage open communication and ensure team cohesion.
- Act as a liaison between the project team and stakeholders, providing regular updates and seeking input and feedback.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners to support project goals.
- Implement and maintain project management tools and processes to streamline project delivery.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to increase project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct regular project evaluations and identify areas for improvement to drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor and coach team members to support their professional development and growth.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in project management to bring new ideas and strategies to the team.
- Ensure that all projects adhere to university policies, procedures, and standards.
- Other duties as assigned by senior management.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Diverse Teams And Stakeholders.
Bachelor's Degree In Project Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Project Management, Preferably In A Higher Education Or Research Setting.
Knowledge Of Agile Project Management Methodologies And Ability To Adapt To Changing Project Needs.
Strong Organizational And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously And Meet Tight Deadlines.
