- Develop and implement strategic communication plans and initiatives to engage community members and promote positive social change.
- Collaborate with team members to create compelling and impactful messaging that resonates with target audiences.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, including local organizations, businesses, and residents.
- Plan and execute events and outreach activities to increase community engagement and awareness of our mission.
- Monitor and analyze communication and engagement efforts, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
- Utilize a variety of communication channels, including social media, email, and traditional media, to reach and engage diverse audiences.
- Act as a liaison between the university and the community, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in community engagement and communication strategies.
- Work closely with team members to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all communication materials.
- Assist with other tasks and projects as needed to support the overall goals and objectives of the i-team.
Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Communications, Community Engagement, Or A Related Field.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Adapt Style And Tone For Different Audiences.
Strong Project Management Skills And Ability To Work Independently And Prioritize Tasks Effectively.
Experience Working With Diverse Communities And Developing Culturally Sensitive Messaging And Engagement Strategies.
