- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the grant and contract process at Johns Hopkins University.
- Oversee the development and submission of grant and contract proposals, ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines and regulations.
- Manage the post-award process, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance monitoring.
- Collaborate with research teams to ensure that all grant and contract requirements are met.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in grant and contract regulations and policies, and implement necessary updates and revisions to ensure compliance.
- Serve as a liaison between the university and funding agencies, addressing any questions or concerns related to grants and contracts.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all grant and contract activities, including financial reports, progress reports, and award documentation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including researchers, faculty, and funding agencies.
- Identify and pursue new funding opportunities for research projects.
- Provide guidance and support to faculty and staff on best practices for grant and contract management.
- Prepare and present reports and presentations on grant and contract activities to university leadership.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of all required grant and contract documents.
- Collaborate with other university departments, such as finance and human resources, to ensure seamless integration of grant and contract management processes.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with all grant and contract requirements.
- Mentor and train junior staff members on grant and contract management processes and procedures.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Finance, Or A Related Field.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Various Stakeholders, Including Faculty, Staff, And External Funding Agencies.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Grants And Contracts Management, Preferably In A University Or Non-Profit Setting.
Knowledge Of Federal Regulations And Compliance Requirements For Grants And Contracts, Including Uniform Guidance, Far, And A-21.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects And Deadlines.
