  1. Manage all financial operations of Johns Hopkins University, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
  2. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures in accordance with the university's strategic goals and objectives.
  3. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws, and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  4. Collaborate with department heads and other university leaders to develop and monitor departmental budgets and provide guidance on financial matters.
  5. Identify potential financial risks and provide recommendations for mitigation strategies.
  6. Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and make strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  7. Prepare and present financial reports to university stakeholders, including the Board of Trustees and executive leadership.

  9. Oversee the university's financial aid programs and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  10. Lead and develop a team of financial professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  11. Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory agencies to ensure timely and accurate completion of audits and reporting requirements.
  12. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to higher education finance, and make recommendations for process improvements or changes as needed.
  13. Serve as a liaison between the university and external financial partners, such as banks, investment firms, and donors.
  14. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information.
  15. Represent Johns Hopkins University in a professional and positive manner, promoting the university's mission, values, and culture.

Job Qualifications
