As a Facilities Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the appearance and functionality of our campus facilities.   1. Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of all campus facilities, including classrooms, offices, and common areas.
  2. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, fixing plumbing issues, and repairing minor damages.
  3. Monitor and restock supplies in restrooms, break rooms, and other areas as needed.
  4. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and report any potential safety hazards.
  5. Assist with setup and breakdown of furniture and equipment for events and meetings.
  6. Respond promptly to any facility-related requests or concerns from students, staff, and faculty.
  7. Work closely with the Facilities Manager to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  8. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
  9. Collaborate with other departments and vendors to ensure the proper functioning of specialized equipment and systems.
  10. Serve as a point of contact for external contractors and vendors when necessary.
  11. Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols and regulations.
  12. Continuously seek out opportunities to improve and streamline facility maintenance processes.
  13. Provide exceptional customer service to all members of the university community.
  14. Maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times, representing the university in a positive light.
  15. Attend training and development sessions to stay updated on best practices and procedures related to facilities management.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent

  • At Least 2 Years Of Experience In A Facilities Management Or Maintenance Role

  • Knowledge Of Basic Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, And Hvac Systems

  • Ability To Lift Up To 50 Lbs And Perform Physical Tasks Such As Bending, Kneeling, And Climbing

  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills
