  1. Oversee and manage all aspects of research administration for Johns Hopkins University.
  2. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to research activities.
  3. Develop, implement, and maintain efficient and effective processes and systems for managing research projects and grants.
  4. Collaborate with faculty, research staff, and other university departments to provide support and guidance for research proposals, budgets, and compliance requirements.
  5. Provide leadership and direction to the research administration team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  6. Monitor and analyze research trends and identify potential areas for growth and improvement.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with external funding agencies, industry partners, and other stakeholders to promote research collaborations and secure funding opportunities.
  8. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of research activities and financial information to internal and external stakeholders.
  9. Facilitate the development and implementation of policies and procedures to promote a culture of excellence in research.
  10. Stay updated on changes in regulations and best practices in research administration and make recommendations for process improvements and policy updates.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Business, Finance, Or Science.

  • Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Research Administration, Preferably In A Higher Education Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Federal Regulations And Compliance Requirements Related To Research Funding.

  • Proven Leadership And Management Skills, With Experience Overseeing A Team And Managing Budgets.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Diverse Stakeholders Such As Faculty, Staff, And External Partners.
