- Support development and fundraising efforts: The primary responsibility of the Development Coordinator is to assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of fundraising initiatives for the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). This includes working closely with the development team to implement fundraising strategies and campaigns.
- Coordinate donor cultivation and stewardship activities: The Development Coordinator will be responsible for managing donor databases, tracking donor contributions, and ensuring timely acknowledgement of gifts. They will also play a key role in organizing events and other activities to engage and steward donors.
- Conduct prospect research: The Development Coordinator will be responsible for conducting research on potential donors and identifying new funding opportunities. This includes analyzing donor giving history, wealth indicators, and philanthropic interests to inform fundraising strategies.
- Manage development communications: The Development Coordinator will be responsible for drafting and editing development-related communications, including fundraising appeals, donor newsletters, and acknowledgement letters. Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Business Administration, Communications, Or International Relations.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Development And Fundraising, Preferably Within The Higher Education Sector.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Diverse Stakeholders.
Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects And Deadlines.
Knowledge Of Development Databases And Fundraising Software, As Well As Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Social Media Platforms For Outreach And Communication Purposes.
