  1. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the overall student experience and support student success.
  2. Provide strong and effective leadership to the team of student affairs professionals.
  3. Oversee a wide range of programs and services, including but not limited to student activities, residential life, career services, and student health and wellness.
  4. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of student services and programs.
  5. Stay up-to-date on the challenges and opportunities facing today's college students and utilize this knowledge to inform decision-making and program development.
  6. Foster a culture of diversity and inclusion within the student affairs team and across campus.
  7. Communicate effectively with students, staff, and faculty to promote a positive and inclusive campus environment.
  8. Develop and manage budgets for student affairs programs and services.
  9. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and services, making adjustments as needed to meet the evolving needs of students.
  10. Serve as a resource and support for students, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
  11. Represent the university and the student affairs division in various meetings and events.
  12. Maintain a strong commitment to professional development and stay current with best practices and trends in student affairs.
  13. Work closely with the Dean of Students to support the overall mission and goals of the university.
  14. Handle any student-related issues or crises in a timely and effective manner.

Job Qualifications
  • A Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Leadership Role Within Higher Education, Preferably At The University Level.

  • A Strong Understanding Of Student Development Theories And The Ability To Apply Them In A Diverse And Complex University Setting.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, Including The Ability To Collaborate With Various Departments And Stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated Experience In Developing And Implementing Student Support Programs And Initiatives, With A Focus On Promoting Student Success And Well-Being.

  • A Deep Commitment To Diversity, Equity, And Inclusion, And A Track Record Of Promoting And Supporting These Values In A University Environment.
