  1. Develop and maintain the university's budget by analyzing financial data, forecasting future expenditures, and identifying areas for cost savings.
  2. Collaborate with various departments to understand their budget needs and goals, and provide guidance on budget allocations.
  3. Monitor and track budget expenditures to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  4. Prepare and present budget reports to senior management, highlighting any significant variances or areas of concern.
  5. Conduct regular audits and analyses to identify potential areas for improvement in budget management.
  6. Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to negotiate and secure favorable pricing for the university.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in budget management to continuously improve processes and procedures.
  8. Communicate budget updates and changes to relevant stakeholders and provide necessary training and support.
  9. Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
  10. Participate in the development and implementation of new financial policies and procedures.
  11. Assist in the preparation and submission of grant proposals and reports.
  12. Provide support and guidance to other team members on budget-related matters.
  13. Uphold the university's values and standards of excellence in all financial decisions and interactions.
  14. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the budget department and across the university.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities to streamline processes and increase efficiency in budget management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or A Related Field.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Budget Planning And Management.

  • Proficiency In Budgeting Software And Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, Including The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Multiple Departments And Stakeholders.
