  1. Develop and maintain the university's budget, including tracking expenses and revenues, identifying trends, and making recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  2. Monitor budget activities and ensure compliance with university policies and procedures.
  3. Collaborate with department heads and other stakeholders to develop and review budget proposals and plans.
  4. Conduct financial analysis and provide reports to senior management regarding budget performance and potential areas of improvement.
  5. Identify and implement cost-saving measures to maximize the university's resources.
  6. Oversee and maintain accurate records of all budget-related transactions and documentation.
  7. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of budget data.
  8. Stay updated on financial regulations and best practices in budget management to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  9. Communicate effectively with various departments and stakeholders to provide guidance and support on budget-related matters.
  10. Participate in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
  11. Train and mentor other staff members on budget management and financial processes.
  12. Contribute to the overall financial planning and decision-making process of the university.
  13. Handle any budget-related inquiries or concerns from stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve budget processes and systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  15. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Budgeting, Financial Analysis, Or Related Field.

  • Strong Proficiency In Microsoft Excel And Financial Management Software.

  • Knowledge Of Budgeting Principles And Practices, Including Forecasting, Variance Analysis, And Budget Development.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Various Departments And Stakeholders.
