  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the athletic department and ensure adherence to university policies and regulations.
  2. Collaborate with coaches, student-athletes, and other staff members to develop and maintain a positive and competitive environment.
  3. Assist in the recruitment and retention of talented student-athletes by actively participating in recruiting events and communicating with potential recruits.
  4. Develop and implement strategies to support the academic success of student-athletes, including monitoring academic progress and providing resources for academic support.
  5. Manage the budget for the athletic department and ensure responsible financial practices are followed.
  6. Plan and execute athletic events, including games, tournaments, and team travel.
  7. Maintain strong relationships with university administrators, alumni, and community partners to promote the athletic department and its programs.
  8. Oversee the hiring, training, and evaluation of athletic department staff members.
  9. Ensure compliance with all NCAA rules and regulations, as well as conference and university policies.
  10. Act as a liaison between the athletic department and other university departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  11. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices and industry trends.
  12. Foster a culture of excellence, sportsmanship, and integrity within the athletic department.
  13. Handle any disciplinary actions or conflicts within the athletic department in a fair and consistent manner.
  14. Represent the university and athletic department at conferences, meetings, and other events.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Sports Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Intercollegiate Athletics, Preferably At The Division I Level.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Ncaa Rules And Regulations.

  • Demonstrated Leadership Skills And Ability To Manage A Team.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Stakeholders, Including Coaches, Student-Athletes, And University Administration.
