Fluent In American Sign Language (Asl): The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Possess A High Level Of Fluency In Asl, Including A Deep Understanding Of Deaf Culture And The Ability To Accurately Interpret Between Asl And English.
Certified Interpreter: Applicants Should Hold A Valid Certification From An Accredited Interpreting Program, Such As The National Registry Of Interpreters For The Deaf (Rid) Or The National Association Of The Deaf (Nad).
