- Serve as the primary point of contact for all academic HR-related inquiries and issues.
- Manage and optimize the use of the Workday system for academic HR operations.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective HR processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in academic HR and make recommendations for improvement.
- Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of academic staff.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with university policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to academic managers and staff on HR-related matters.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance understanding and utilization of the Workday system.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
- Work with external vendors and consultants to implement new HR initiatives.
- Collaborate with the HR team to ensure a positive employee experience and foster a culture of diversity and inclusion.
- Keep abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations and ensure compliance.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Continuously assess and improve processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
A Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Human Resources, With A Focus On Academic Hr Processes And Policies.
In-Depth Knowledge And Experience With The Workday Hris System, Including Implementation, Configuration, And Troubleshooting.
Strong Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Lead And Manage Complex Hr Projects And Initiatives.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Various Stakeholders, Including Faculty, Staff, And Administrators.
A Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field. A Master's Degree And/Or Hr Certification Is Preferred.
