
Wound Care Physical Therapist
Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a dedicated and highly experienced Wound Care Physical Therapist to join our world-renowned team. We are looking for a person with outstanding diagnostic and therapeutic skills who is passionate about delivering the highest quality of care to our patients. Our ideal candidate is a collaborative and supportive team member who is committed to providing compassionate care and excellent customer service. To be successful in this role, the Wound Care Physical Therapist must have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, as well as current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Maryland. In addition to clinical experience in wound care, the successful candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and in a team setting, and an unwavering commitment to providing the highest quality of care.
Responsibilities of Wound Care Physical Therapist:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with wounds
- Utilize evidence-based practices to assess, diagnose, and treat wounds
- Maintain documentation of patient care and progress
- Educate patients and families on wound care treatments and management
- Collaborate with members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure best outcomes for patients
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize patient independence
- Maintain current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Maryland
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing professional networks
- Provide compassionate care and outstanding customer service to patients and families
