Ultrasound Technologist

The successful candidate will be expected to have a minimum of a two-year associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field, or equivalent experience. They should have a strong knowledge of and experience with ultrasound equipment and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to act as an advocate for patients. Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasound examinations on patients in a timely and professional manner.

• Accurately document results of each examination and report them to the ordering physician.

• Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment in order to ensure proper functioning at all times.

• Ensure proper patient preparation and positioning for each examination.

• Monitor and maintain quality control standards for all procedures.

• Follow all safety protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff.

• Educate patients and family members about the procedure, potential risks, and expected outcomes.

• Collaborate with other medical staff to ensure quality patient care.

• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

• Participate in continuing education activities to stay up to date with advancements in ultrasound technology.
