As a vital member of our transport team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transfer of patients between facilities.   1. Coordinate and manage all aspects of patient transport between facilities for Lifeline Medical Transportation.
  2. Ensure that all patient transfers are executed in a safe and timely manner.
  3. Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, patients, and their families to coordinate transport logistics and address any concerns or questions.
  4. Maintain accurate records of all patient transfers, including necessary documentation and reports.
  5. Monitor and track transport requests to ensure timely pick-up and delivery.
  6. Collaborate with hospital staff to identify and resolve any issues or delays in patient transfers.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while transporting patients.
  8. Maintain and organize transport equipment and supplies to ensure readiness for all transfers.
  9. Assist in training and onboarding of new transport team members.
  10. Continuously assess and improve processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of patient transport services.
  11. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, ensuring a positive experience during transport.
  12. Follow all policies and procedures of Johns Hopkins Medicine and Lifeline Medical Transportation.
  13. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  14. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  15. Stay updated on industry trends and developments related to patient transport.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Transportation Or Logistics Role, Preferably In A Medical Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Medical Transportation, Including Hipaa And Osha Guidelines.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Coordinate With Various Departments And External Stakeholders.

  • Proficiency In Using Transportation Management Software And Electronic Medical Records Systems.

  • Current Valid Driver's License And Clean Driving Record, With The Ability To Operate And Maintain Medical Transport Vehicles.
