  1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the organization.
  2. Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, identifying any discrepancies or irregularities.
  3. Conduct regular audits of financial data to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  4. Assist in budget preparation and monitoring, providing insight and recommendations for cost-saving measures.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
  6. Act as a liaison between the organization and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and information.
  7. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payment and collection of invoices.
  8. Monitor and reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts.
  9. Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting standards, implementing necessary updates and changes within the organization.
  11. Serve as a resource for financial inquiries and provide support to other departments as needed.
  12. Adhere to confidentiality and ethical standards when handling sensitive financial information.
  13. Contribute to the overall mission of Johns Hopkins Medicine by promoting excellence in healthcare and research through accurate financial reporting.
