As a Senior Plant Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facility's plant equipment.   1. Operate and maintain all plant equipment, including boilers, chillers, generators, pumps, and HVAC systems.
  2. Monitor and adjust plant equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
  3. Troubleshoot and repair any equipment malfunctions or failures in a timely manner.
  4. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on plant equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  5. Keep accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure minimal disruption to hospital operations.
  7. Train and mentor junior plant operators to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  8. Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices to improve plant operations and energy efficiency.
  9. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for staff and patients.
  10. Respond promptly to any emergency situations and take appropriate action to minimize damage and ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the plant room and surrounding areas.
  12. Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to report any issues or concerns and collaborate on solutions.
  13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
  14. Participate in meetings and training sessions to stay informed on updates and changes in procedures and equipment.
  15. Act as a role model for professionalism, dedication, and commitment to the organization's mission and values.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role As A Plant Operator, Preferably Within A Healthcare Setting.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Mechanical And Electrical Systems, Including Hvac, Plumbing, And Electrical Systems.

  • Experience With Operating And Maintaining Complex Equipment, Such As Boilers, Chillers, And Emergency Generators.

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Troubleshooting Skills, With The Ability To Quickly Identify And Resolve Issues With Equipment.

  • Knowledge Of Safety Protocols And Regulations Related To Plant Operations, Including Osha, Nfpa, And Epa Guidelines.
