  1. Lead and manage complex capital projects within the Imaging department to improve healthcare services and enhance patient experience.
  2. Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  3. Identify and mitigate potential risks and obstacles to project success.
  4. Coordinate and communicate with all involved parties, including vendors, contractors, and internal departments.
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  6. Oversee the selection and procurement of equipment and materials for the projects.
  7. Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to senior leadership.
  8. Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure timely completion and successful delivery.
  9. Manage project budgets and track expenses to ensure cost-effective delivery.
  10. Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members to support their professional development.
  11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
  12. Represent the organization in meetings and negotiations with external partners and stakeholders.
  13. Conduct post-project evaluations and identify areas for improvement.
  14. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in imaging technology to inform project decisions.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Project Management Experience: A Senior Capital Project Manager For Imaging At Johns Hopkins Medicine Should Have A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Managing Complex Capital Projects Related To Medical Imaging Equipment. This Includes Experience In Budgeting, Scheduling, Risk Management, And Vendor Management.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Imaging Technology: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Latest Trends And Developments In Medical Imaging Technology, Including Mri, Ct, Pet, And Ultrasound. They Should Also Have Experience In Managing The Installation, Maintenance, And Upgrade Of These Systems.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills: As A Senior Capital Project Manager, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team And Coordinating With Various Stakeholders, Including Physicians, Engineers, And Vendors. Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills Are Crucial For The Success Of The Project.

  • Financial Acumen: The Senior Capital Project Manager Will Be Responsible For Managing The Budget Of The Imaging Capital Project, Which Can Range From A Few Million To Tens Of Millions Of Dollars. A Strong Understanding Of Financial Management, Including Budgeting, Forecasting, And Cost Control, Is Essential For This Role.

  • Project Management Certification: A Recognized Project Management Certification, Such As Pmp (Project Management Professional) Or Capm (Certified Associate In Project Management), Is Highly Desired For This Role. This Demonstrates The Candidate's Knowledge And Expertise In Project Management Principles And Methodologies.
