We are currently seeking a Security Communications Specialist to join our team and help maintain the safety and security of our facilities. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will be responsible for coordinating and disseminating critical security information to our staff, patients, and visitors. As a Security Communications Specialist, you must possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations. If you are dedicated to keeping our community safe and have the necessary qualifications, we would love to have you join our team.

  1. Coordinate and disseminate security information to staff, patients, and visitors in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Collaborate with security team and other departments to ensure the safety and security of all facilities.
  3. Monitor security systems and respond to alarms and other potential security threats.
  4. Communicate emergency protocols and procedures to staff and visitors.
  5. Handle and prioritize multiple tasks and information sources in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Remain calm and composed in high-stress situations and make quick and effective decisions.
  7. Update and maintain security logs, reports, and records.
  8. Conduct regular security checks and inspections of the facilities.
  9. Assist with the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service and support to all individuals on campus.
  11. Serve as a point of contact for security-related inquiries and concerns.
  12. Stay up-to-date with security industry trends and best practices.
  13. Train and educate staff on security protocols and procedures.
  14. Work closely with law enforcement and emergency response teams when necessary.
  15. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Public Relations, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Communications Or Public Relations, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Security Setting.

  • Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Convey Complex Security Information To Various Audiences.

  • Experience In Crisis Communication And Emergency Management.

  • Knowledge Of Hipaa Regulations And Other Healthcare Privacy Laws.
