  1. Responsible for the safe and efficient processing of endoscopes and other medical instruments.
  2. Follow industry standards and protocols to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
  3. Utilize technical skills and knowledge to properly clean, sterilize, and maintain medical equipment.
  4. Maintain inventory and order necessary supplies to ensure a well-stocked and organized work environment.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth and timely processing of scopes for procedures.
  6. Adhere to strict safety and infection control guidelines to prevent the spread of bacteria and viruses.
  7. Maintain accurate records of all processed equipment and report any issues or concerns to supervisors.
  8. Continuously assess and improve processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  9. Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff by responding promptly to requests and inquiries.
  10. Participate in training and education programs to stay current with industry standards and advancements in scope processing technology.
  11. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  12. Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and healthy work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Health Information Management Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Medical Records Or Health Information Management

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Coding Systems (E.g. Icd-10, Cpt)

  • Experience With Electronic Health Record Systems, Such As Epic Or Cerner

  • Ability To Work Independently And Prioritize Tasks In A Fast-Paced Environment
