
RN - Intensive Care Unit
At Johns Hopkins Medicine, we are seeking an experienced and caring Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. In this role, you will provide critical care to patients in the ICU, ensuring that the highest standards of care and service are delivered in a compassionate and professional manner. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, organizational, and clinical skills, as well as a commitment to providing the highest quality of care to our patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients in the ICU, taking appropriate action to ensure that the highest quality of care is provided.
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and their families.
- Document patient care activities in the electronic medical record.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment within the ICU.
- Contribute to team efforts by collaborating with other ICU staff to provide the best care possible.
- Participate in continuing education and training to stay up to date on the latest developments in nursing care.
- Follow all facility policies and procedures related to patient care.
- Comply with all applicable standards of practice and licensing regulations.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certification
Excellent Communication
Interpersonal
Current Registered Nurse (Rn) Licensure In Maryland
Two Years Of Icu/Critical Care Nursing Experience
Knowledge Of Basic Life Support (Bls)
Demonstrated Computer Skills And Knowledge Of Electronic Health Records (Ehr)
