Job Description

We are currently looking for a Revenue Integrity Specialist to join our team at Johns Hopkins Medicine. The ideal candidate will be an analytical, detail-oriented problem-solver with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. This position requires a professional who is able to work independently as well as collaborate with a team, and is passionate about ensuring the accuracy of our financial records. The successful candidate should have an Associate’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or a combination of related work experience and education. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration is preferred. Candidates should also have at least two years of experience in a healthcare revenue cycle environment, and prior experience with audit and compliance activities. Responsibilities:

• Analyze revenue cycle data to identify inaccuracies and discrepancies • Ensure accuracy of financial records and compliance with applicable regulations • Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure ongoing accuracy of financial records • Monitor and audit revenue cycle activities to ensure compliance with internal and external policies • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy and integrity of revenue cycle processes • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders • Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders related to revenue cycle activities • Assist in the resolution of billing, coding, and reimbursement issues • Create and maintain detailed reports related to revenue cycle activities • Identify opportunities for improvement and suggest appropriate changes
