- Provide top-quality care to pediatric and neonatal patients with respiratory conditions.
- Utilize strong background in respiratory therapy to assess, diagnose, and treat patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and self-management strategies.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Stay up-to-date on advancements and developments in respiratory therapy.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist with implementing new protocols and procedures.

Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy From An Accredited Institution. This Degree Should Include Coursework In Pediatric And Neonatal Respiratory Care.
Certification In Pediatric And Neonatal Respiratory Care: Candidates Should Possess A Valid And Current Certification In Pediatric And Neonatal Respiratory Care From A Recognized Professional Organization, Such As The National Board For Respiratory Care.
Experience In Pediatric And Neonatal Respiratory Care: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Pediatric And/Or Neonatal Respiratory Care Setting Is Preferred. This Experience Should Include Working With A Wide Variety Of Pediatric And Neonatal Patients And Managing Complex Respiratory Conditions.
Knowledge Of Current Respiratory Therapy Practices And Technology: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Current Respiratory Therapy Practices And Technology, Specifically As It Relates To Pediatric And Neonatal Care. This Includes Knowledge Of Mechanical Ventilation, Oxygen Therapy, And Airway Management Techniques.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Respiratory Therapist Working With Pediatric And Neonatal Patients, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential. Candidates Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Their Families, And Other Members Of The Healthcare Team In A Compassionate And Professional Manner.
