  1. Provide respiratory care to patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly.
  2. Utilize the latest technology and techniques to provide exceptional care.
  3. Administer treatments and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
  4. Monitor patients' respiratory status and make appropriate adjustments to treatment plans.
  5. Educate patients and their families on respiratory health and disease management.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  8. Ensure that all equipment and supplies are properly maintained, calibrated, and stocked.
  9. Respond to emergency situations and provide life-saving respiratory support.
  10. Stay current with advancements in respiratory therapy and attend training and education sessions as required.
  11. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  12. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
  13. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times.
  14. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  15. Serve as a role model for other team members and promote a positive work environment.
  16. Continuously strive to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  17. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  18. Comply with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
  19. Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
  20. Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Certification By The National Board For Respiratory Care (Nbrc) As A Registered Respiratory Therapist (Rrt).

  • Current And Valid License To Practice As A Respiratory Therapist In The State Of Maryland.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Setting.

  • Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And Team-Oriented Environment.
