Job Description

Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Interventional Radiology Team. In this role, you will be an integral part of the patient-centered care we provide. As the Registered Nurse (RN) in Interventional Radiology, you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, as well as collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure positive patient outcomes.The ideal candidate for this position will be an RN with at least two years of experience in Interventional Radiology or a related field, as well as strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. You must also have an active RN license in the state of Maryland, as well as current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). Responsibilities:

  1. Perform assessments and develop care plans for Interventional Radiology patients.
  2. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure positive patient outcomes.
  3. Monitor patient progress and evaluate care plans for effectiveness.
  4. Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to Interventional Radiology patients.
  5. Maintain an active RN license in the state of Maryland and current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
  6. Utilize strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  7. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards.
  8. Document patient care and maintain accurate patient records.
  9. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
  10. Assist in the training and development of new staff members.
