  1. Provide compassionate and dedicated care to children and adolescents with mental health needs.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  3. Assess and monitor patients' physical and mental health status, and report any changes or concerns to appropriate team members.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  5. Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
  6. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records and documentation.
  7. Participate in team meetings and contribute to treatment planning and goal setting.
  8. Continuously evaluate and reassess patients' progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
  9. Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.
  10. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective patient care.
  11. Keep up-to-date with current trends and developments in pediatric mental health care.
  12. Serve as a mentor and resource for other team members, including nursing assistants and new nurses.
  13. Advocate for patients' rights and needs to ensure their well-being and best interests are met.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  15. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current And Active Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Maryland.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working With Pediatric Patients In An Inpatient Psychiatric Setting.

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certification.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Multidisciplinary Team Setting.
