  1. Provide specialized and compassionate care to patients in urgent and critical situations.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess and prioritize patient needs.
  3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  4. Monitor and document patient's vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  5. Respond quickly and efficiently to emergency situations, following established protocols and procedures.
  6. Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs.
  7. Educate patients and their families about their condition and treatment plan.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  9. Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and adhere to infection control protocols.
  10. Act as an advocate for patients and their families, providing emotional support and guidance.
  11. Stay current with advancements in emergency nursing and implement evidence-based practices.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  13. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  14. Maintain professional and ethical standards in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
  15. Continuously strive for excellence in patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Rn License: The Candidate Must Hold An Active And Unrestricted Rn License In The State Of Maryland, Or Be Eligible To Obtain One Prior To Employment.

  • Emergency Nursing Experience: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As A Registered Nurse In An Emergency Department Setting.

  • Bls And Acls Certification: The Candidate Should Possess Current Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications, As Well As Other Relevant Certifications Such As Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Pals) And Trauma Nursing Core Course (Tncc).

  • Strong Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills: The Candidate Should Be Able To Quickly Assess And Prioritize Patient Needs In High-Stress Situations, And Make Effective Decisions To Provide Timely And Appropriate Care.

  • Team Player: The Candidate Must Possess Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, And Be Able To Work Effectively With A Multidisciplinary Team To Provide The Best Possible Patient Care In A Fast-Paced Environment.
