  1. Provide exceptional and compassionate care to patients in the Emergency department.
  2. Utilize strong background in emergency nursing to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
  3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
  4. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
  5. Monitor and report changes in patient condition to appropriate healthcare team members.
  6. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  7. Educate patients and their families about their condition and treatment plan.
  8. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures and regulations.
  9. Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  10. Continuously update knowledge and skills through ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
  11. Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, addressing their concerns and needs.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of patient care.
  13. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  14. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure a high standard of care for patients.
  15. Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient satisfaction and the organization's mission to provide world-class healthcare.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree From An Accredited Institution

  • Valid Registered Nurse License In The State Of Maryland

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In An Emergency Department Setting

  • Current Certification In Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) And Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Pals)

  • Strong Critical Thinking, Communication, And Leadership Skills
