  1. Provide specialized care to patients with complex cardiac conditions in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  3. Assess, monitor, and document patient's condition and respond to changes in their condition.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  5. Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  7. Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
  8. Ensure the safety and well-being of patients at all times.
  9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices.
  10. Maintain professional knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training.
  11. Serve as an advocate for patients and their families.
  12. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  13. Prioritize and manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes and providing the highest quality of care.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) Or Higher From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current And Valid Rn License In The State Of Maryland.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (Icu) Setting.

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) And Basic Life Support (Bls) Certifications.

  • Strong Critical Thinking Skills And Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.
