
Radiology Technician

- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures: As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for operating various imaging equipment such as X-ray, MRI, CT scan, and ultrasound machines to produce high-quality images of patients.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort: You will be responsible for ensuring that all safety protocols are followed during imaging procedures to protect patients from any potential harm. Additionally, you will need to provide reassurance and comfort to anxious or uncomfortable patients.
- Maintain equipment and supplies: It will be your responsibility to maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, report any malfunctions, and ensure that all necessary supplies are stocked and ready for use.
- Collaborate with healthcare team: You will work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results. This may involve discussing imaging protocols, reviewing images, and providing necessary information for patient care.
- Record and maintain patient information: You will be responsible for accurately documenting patient information, imaging results, and any other relevant data in electronic medical records.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols: You will need to follow all safety and infection control procedures, including proper disposal of hazardous materials, to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Continuous learning and development: As a Radiology Technician, you will be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging techniques and technology and participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
- Provide exceptional patient care: You will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and addressing any concerns patients may have before, during, and after imaging procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality: It will be your responsibility to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive patient information.

Associate's Or Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology From An Accredited Institution.
Valid Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Radiology Technician In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.
Knowledge Of And Ability To Operate Various Radiology Equipment, Including X-Ray, Mri, Ct, And Ultrasound Machines.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
