  1. Greet and welcome patients and visitors to Johns Hopkins Medicine in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Assist patients with check-in processes, including verifying identification and insurance information.
  3. Escort patients to the radiology department and provide them with necessary instructions and information about the imaging procedure.
  4. Prepare examination rooms and equipment for imaging procedures, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
  5. Assist radiologists and technologists in positioning patients for imaging scans and procedures.
  6. Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures, responding to any concerns or needs.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documenting procedures and results.
  8. Coordinate and communicate with other healthcare professionals involved in patient care, such as nurses and physicians.
  9. Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing patient paperwork.
  10. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
  11. Keep inventory of supplies and equipment, and notify appropriate staff when supplies need to be replenished.
  12. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with patients and colleagues.
  13. Attend trainings and stay updated on new developments and technology in the field of radiology.
  14. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.
  15. Embody the values and mission of Johns Hopkins Medicine in all interactions and work towards promoting a positive and compassionate work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current Certification As A Radiologic Technologist (Rt) By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience Working As A Radiologic Technologist In A Clinical Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Radiology Equipment, Procedures, And Safety Protocols.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.
