  1. Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients with psychiatric disorders, using evidence-based techniques and interventions.
  2. Develop and implement treatment plans based on thorough assessments and collaboration with other members of the treatment team.
  3. Conduct thorough and accurate assessments of patients' mental health needs, including diagnosis and risk assessment.
  4. Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
  5. Monitor and track patients' progress throughout treatment, adjusting interventions as needed.
  6. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  7. Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and coping strategies.
  8. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice, including confidentiality and boundaries.
  9. Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss patients' progress and collaborate on treatment plans.
  10. Continuously strive to improve clinical skills and knowledge through ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
  11. Serve as an advocate for patients, promoting their rights, needs, and well-being.
  12. Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and cultural competence in all interactions with patients and their families.
  13. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including safety protocols and documentation requirements.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while representing Johns Hopkins Medicine to patients, families, and the community.
  15. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among all members of the treatment team.

Job Qualifications
  • A Valid License To Practice As A Therapist In The State Of Maryland.

  • A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Counseling, Psychology, Or Related Field.

  • At Least 2 Years Of Experience Providing Therapy To Individuals With Mental Health Disorders.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Evidence-Based Therapeutic Techniques And Treatment Modalities For A Variety Of Mental Health Disorders.
