Job Description

At Johns Hopkins Medicine, we are looking for an experienced, compassionate and highly motivated Endocrinologist to join our team. As an Endocrinologist at Johns Hopkins, you will have the opportunity to play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients, while advancing the field of Endocrinology through research and teaching opportunities.The ideal candidate for this position will possess an M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school, be board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology, have a valid medical license in the state of Maryland, and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Endocrinology. Additionally, we are looking for someone who works well both independently and collaboratively, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and displays a strong commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional care to patients with endocrine conditions.
  2. Create individualized treatment plans for each patient.
  3. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  4. Educate patients and their families about endocrine diseases and treatments.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
  6. Utilize evidence-based medicine to make clinical decisions.
  7. Participate in research projects and present findings at conferences.
  8. Participate in medical education activities and mentor residents and fellows.
  9. Maintain current medical license and board certification in Endocrinology.
  10. Abide by all regulations and standards set by Johns Hopkins Medicine.
