Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of An Accredited Physician Assistant Program: Applicants For The Physician Assistant Resident - Emergency Medicine Job At Johns Hopkins Medicine Must Have Completed An Accredited Physician Assistant Program And Obtained A Degree From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current Licensure And Certification: Candidates Must Possess A Current, Unrestricted Physician Assistant License In The State Of Maryland And Be Certified By The National Commission On Certification Of Physician Assistants (Nccpa).

  • Previous Experience In Emergency Medicine: Ideal Candidates Should Have Prior Clinical Experience In An Emergency Medicine Setting, Preferably In A High-Volume, Academic Medical Center.

  • Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills: The Role Of A Physician Assistant Resident In Emergency Medicine Requires The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment, While Communicating Clearly And Collaborating With Other Healthcare Professionals.
