
Pediatric Physical Therapist
Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing physical therapy services and care to pediatric patients. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other care providers to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are tailored to the patient's needs.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Pediatric Physical Therapist, along with a valid physical therapy license. In addition, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be passionate about providing outstanding care to pediatric patients. Knowledge of current physical therapy best practices and evidence-based treatments is a must. Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess the physical needs of pediatric patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the patient’s needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other care providers to provide comprehensive care.
- Educate patients and families on physical therapy best practices and evidence-based treatments.
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain a valid physical therapy license.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times.
