- Safely and efficiently transport patients to and from various locations within the healthcare facility, including but not limited to, exam rooms, diagnostic testing areas, and surgical suites.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members to ensure a smooth and positive experience for the patient.
- Monitor and assess patient needs, including their physical and emotional state, and provide appropriate assistance or support as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure the safety and well-being of patients and staff.
- Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times, showing empathy and understanding towards patients and their families.
- Handle difficult or emergency situations calmly and effectively, following established procedures and protocols.
- Keep accurate records of patient transport activities, including any delays, incidents, or concerns.
- Report any issues or concerns regarding patient care or equipment to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized environment in patient care areas, including removing and disposing of any waste or soiled linens.
- Attend training sessions and meetings to stay updated on policies, procedures, and new equipment related to patient transport.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.

- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
