High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Requirement For A Patient Care Technician In The Emergency Department At Johns Hopkins Medicine Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Shows That The Candidate Has A Basic Understanding Of Academic Concepts And Can Follow Instructions.
Cna Or Emt Certification: A Certification As A Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Or Emergency Medical Technician (Emt) Is Preferred For This Position. These Certifications Demonstrate That The Candidate Has Received Specialized Training In Providing Direct Patient Care And Is Familiar With Basic Medical Procedures.
