
Pathologist Assistant
Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Pathologist Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the daily operations in the Pathology Department and will work closely with the medical staff to provide quality patient care.The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Pathology, Medical Technology, or a related field; a minimum of two years of experience as a Pathology Assistant; and strong knowledge of laboratory safety procedures. The ideal candidate will also have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work well with minimal supervision. A calm, confident, and compassionate demeanor is essential.As a Pathologist Assistant, you will be responsible for performing technical duties, including collecting, processing, and analyzing specimens, and providing assistance in performing autopsies, surgical pathology, and cytology. You will also assist in the preparation of tissue samples for research and diagnosis.
