1. Assist surgeons and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures.
2. Ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are prepared and available for surgery.
3. Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room at all times.
4. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide assistance as needed.
5. Handle and pass surgical instruments to surgeons and nurses during procedures.
6. Operate and maintain surgical equipment, including sterilization and cleaning.
7. Monitor patients' vital signs and assist with patient positioning and preparation.
8. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures.
9. Communicate effectively with team members and follow directions from surgeons and nurses.
10. Document accurate and detailed records of surgical procedures and supplies used.
11. Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain knowledge and skills.
12. Assist with patient transport to and from the operating room.
13. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
