  1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials and specialized equipment.
  2. Ensure the safe handling, preparation, and administration of radioactive materials.
  3. Monitor patients during procedures and report any adverse reactions or changes in condition to the appropriate medical personnel.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient information.
  5. Follow established protocols and safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure to patients, staff, and self.
  6. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques and evaluate results.
  7. Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and protocols.
  8. Keep up-to-date with advancements in nuclear medicine technology and participate in continuing education to maintain skills and knowledge.
  9. Provide excellent patient care by ensuring comfort, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including equipment, supplies, and patient areas.
  11. Adhere to all institutional policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  12. Act as a patient advocate and promote a culture of patient-centered care.
  13. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  14. Collaborate with other technologists and staff to ensure efficient and timely completion of procedures.
  15. Demonstrate sensitivity and compassion towards patients from diverse backgrounds and with varying medical conditions.
  16. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in maintaining accreditation standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nuclear Medicine Technology Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current Certification By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Nuclear Medicine.

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience Working As A Nuclear Medicine Technologist In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Radiation Safety Protocols And Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Patients And Healthcare Team Members In A Professional Manner.
