- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials and specialized equipment.
- Ensure the safe handling, preparation, and administration of radioactive materials.
- Monitor patients during procedures and report any adverse reactions or changes in condition to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient information.
- Follow established protocols and safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure to patients, staff, and self.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques and evaluate results.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and protocols.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in nuclear medicine technology and participate in continuing education to maintain skills and knowledge.
- Provide excellent patient care by ensuring comfort, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including equipment, supplies, and patient areas.
- Adhere to all institutional policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Act as a patient advocate and promote a culture of patient-centered care.

Bachelor's Degree In Nuclear Medicine Technology Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.
Current Certification By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Nuclear Medicine.
Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience Working As A Nuclear Medicine Technologist In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Radiation Safety Protocols And Procedures.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Patients And Healthcare Team Members In A Professional Manner.
