  1. Conduct MRI scans on patients in a timely and accurate manner.
  2. Maintain a safe and clean working environment in the MRI suite.
  3. Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of MRI equipment.
  4. Follow established imaging protocols and adjust as needed for patient comfort and safety.
  5. Monitor patients during scans and respond to any adverse reactions or emergencies.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and address any concerns.
  7. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation and reporting of MRI results.
  8. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all scans and patient information.
  9. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols and procedures.
  10. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on new MRI technology and techniques.
  11. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment by actively supporting and assisting colleagues.
  12. Demonstrate empathy, compassion and respect towards patients and their families.
  13. Uphold the values and standards of Johns Hopkins Medicine and represent the organization in a professional manner at all times.
  14. Comply with all regulatory and legal requirements related to MRI technology and patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Certification By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Mri.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As An Mri Technologist In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Current Mri Technology And Techniques, As Well As Proficiency In Operating Mri Equipment.
