  1. Perform MRI scans on patients using advanced technology in a safe and accurate manner.
  2. Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns.

  4. Maintain and operate MRI equipment, ensuring it is clean and functioning properly.
  5. Follow established protocols and procedures to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation.

  7. Accurately document patient information and scan results in electronic medical records.

  9. Keep abreast of new developments and techniques in MRI technology and participate in continuing education to maintain skills and knowledge.
  10. Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the department by assisting with scheduling, ordering supplies, and other administrative tasks.
  11. Provide exceptional patient care and customer service by demonstrating compassion, empathy, and professionalism.
  12. Adhere to all safety protocols and radiation protection guidelines to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  14. Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and department processes.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of An Accredited Mri Technology Program: Candidates Must Have Completed An Accredited Program In Mri Technology And Possess The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Operate Mri Equipment Safely And Accurately.

  • Arrt (American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists) Certification: Johns Hopkins Medicine Requires All Mri Technologist Candidates To Hold Current Certification From The Arrt. This Ensures That Candidates Have Met The National Standards For Education, Ethics, And Clinical Competency In Mri Technology.

  • State Licensure: In Addition To Arrt Certification, Candidates Must Hold A Valid State License To Practice As An Mri Technologist. This Ensures That Candidates Have Met All State-Specific Requirements For Operating Mri Equipment.

  • Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As An Mri Technologist In A Healthcare Setting. This Experience Demonstrates A Strong Understanding Of Patient Care, Safety Protocols, And Technical Skills Necessary For The Job.
