  1. Greet and welcome patients and visitors to the medical office in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Schedule patient appointments and manage provider schedules to optimize efficiency.
  3. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients and their families, providing accurate and helpful information.
  4. Maintain patient records and ensure all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  5. Coordinate with insurance companies and other healthcare providers to obtain necessary authorizations and referrals.
  6. Assist in the processing of patient payments and insurance claims.
  7. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate communication and coordination of patient care.
  8. Maintain inventory of office and medical supplies and place orders as needed.
  9. Coordinate and oversee the maintenance and cleaning of the office space.
  10. Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  11. Train and supervise administrative staff, providing guidance and support when needed.
  12. Collaborate with other departments within Johns Hopkins Medicine to ensure seamless operations and exceptional patient care.
  13. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and enhance the patient experience.
  14. Keep abreast of changes and updates in the healthcare industry and ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
  15. Demonstrate a strong commitment to the organization's mission and values in all interactions with patients, visitors, and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Medical Office Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Insurance Billing Procedures, And Electronic Medical Record Systems.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Patients, Staff, And Physicians.
