Job Description

Johns Hopkins Medicine is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Team Member to join our dynamic team! We are looking for someone who can contribute to our mission of delivering the highest quality of care to our patients. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence. They should have experience in building maintenance and/or construction, along with a good understanding of safety regulations and procedures. We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and has excellent problem-solving skills. The Maintenance Team Member will be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure that the building and equipment are in safe and working order. They must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Required Qualifications:• Experience in building maintenance and/or construction• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures• Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence• Excellent problem-solving skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Proactive and organized• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure building and equipment are in safe and working order.
  2. Comply with safety regulations and procedures.
  3. Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff.
  4. Respond promptly and appropriately to repair requests.
  5. Maintain and order necessary supplies and materials for maintenance tasks.
  6. Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with building and equipment.
  7. Perform minor repairs and maintenance services as needed.
  8. Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans.
  9. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
  10. Maintain accurate and detailed records of maintenance tasks.
