
Lactation Consultant
Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a talented, passionate Lactation Consultant to join our team! This individual will provide professional lactation services to our birthing families, promoting optimal infant feeding and nutrition. The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent communication and clinical skills as well as the ability to provide a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to patient care.We are looking for an experienced, dedicated health care professional who has a current certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). We also require a minimum of two years’ experience providing lactation services or two years’ experience in a related field. - Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of lactation practices and protocols.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure best practice care.
