
Immunohistochemistry Technologist
Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking an experienced Immunohistochemistry Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate must possess a strong background in Immunohistochemistry techniques and be committed to providing the highest quality of patient care.This position requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Biological Science. In addition, the successful candidate must have at least two years of experience working in an Immunohistochemistry laboratory. Qualified applicants should have strong problem-solving and organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.We are looking for a hard-working, dedicated individual who is passionate about providing excellent patient care and is committed to delivering accurate and timely results. Responsibilities:
- Perform Immunohistochemistry (IHC) tests accurately and efficiently in accordance with standard laboratory protocols and procedures.
- Analyze and interpret data, and communicate results to relevant personnel.
- Ensure accuracy of test results by verifying and validating data.
- Maintain laboratory inventory and equipment, and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure laboratory compliance with regulations and standards.
- Remain current with advances in the field of Immunohistochemistry and keep abreast of new technologies and products.
- Participate in laboratory quality assurance programs.
- Provide support and training to other laboratory personnel.
- Participate in laboratory project design and development.
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with other healthcare providers.
